Description
Electronic Arts is seeking students for a Technical Artist Intern role for Fall 2026. The internship is a 12-week temporary position in a hybrid work model.
As a Technical Artist Intern, you will be an individual contributor on a central technical art team supporting the technical delivery of art across a distributed production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a bridge between art and programming departments, understanding art creation and technical code nuances.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in basic 3D concepts and experience in both art and programming.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, slated to graduate on or after May 2027.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D art packages (Maya and Photoshop desired) and experience in scripting and programming (Python and C# desired).
- Foundational experience with 3D concepts such as modeling, texturing, rendering, physically-based shading, lighting, rigging, skinning and deformation, dynamics, particle systems, and image manipulation techniques.
- Basic familiarity with game engine workflows (Unity, Unreal), asset pipelines and profiling, and revision control systems.
