Description
We are seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electrical to expedite the qualification and implementation of product designs with our suppliers, optimising these designs for quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness from early development through the entire product lifecycle.
The successful candidate will own and manage electrical commodities and subcategories, executing supplier production strategies across Anduril's business lines. They will demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, proactivity, technical excellence, creativity, self-direction, and courage.
Key responsibilities include:
Vetting suppliers' production capabilities, factory layout, facilities, and workforce for inclusion in the Approved Supplier List Supporting Supply Chain Product Sourcing Engineers, Supply Chain Global Strategic Sourcing Management, and Supplier Quality Engineers in ensuring suppliers' understanding and adherence to quality criteria Bringing up new production tooling and lines, development at supplier sites to ensure materials, processes, and tools meet product performance, quality, and demand requirements Establishing and driving process performance and controls reviews at supplier sites Identifying and driving product and process improvements, factory layout optimisation at supplier sites to lower part cost, reduce supply risk, eliminate potential defects, and improve cycle time over the product lifecycle Supporting the root cause task force at Anduril, working in tandem with the Supply Chain team, suppliers, and closing the loop of root cause corrective and preventative actions at supplier sites
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field and 6+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment. They will also have specific category technical expertise, experience with electronics manufacturing, SMT processing, and GD&T, and an active U.S. Secret or TS clearance.
