Jr Accountant - General Ledger

The Adler Pelzer Group, a global leader in acoustic and thermal components for the automotive sector, is seeking a Jr Accountant - General Ledger for its new Financial Centre of Excellence in Zaragoza.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing general ledger booking and month-end closing operations
• Supporting and participating in time and schedule management
• Opening and closing modules, communicating with controllers and plants
• Determining and communicating month-end accruals for various topics
• Supporting pensions, tax, and deferred tax booking and reconciliation
• Managing and implementing account reconciliations, controls, and compliance
• Analysing and justifying P&L and BS account balances
• Validating month-end closing bookings with controllers
• Interfacing with internal and external auditors
• Managing account revaluation and foreign currency transactions
• Processing payments, bank statements, and bookings

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Practical experience in accounting and finance administration
• Experience in a large multinational company, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector
• SAP knowledge
• Fluent English and Spanish or French
• Experience in a Shared Service environment is an advantage
