Account Executive, Nonprofits & Higher Education - APAC

As an Account Executive on Anthropic's Beneficial Deployments team covering nonprofits & higher ed institutions across APAC, you'll drive adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic partnerships with nonprofit organisations, foundations, and higher education institutions across Asia-Pacific.

You'll leverage your consultative sales expertise to propel revenue growth while becoming a trusted partner to nonprofit, foundation, and university leaders, helping them embed and deploy AI to amplify their impact across programme delivery, teaching and research, fundraising, and operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of both the social sector and higher education landscapes across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Win new business and drive revenue for Anthropic across APAC nonprofits and higher education institutions.
• Design and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to the distinct market dynamics, regulatory environments, and procurement models of India, ANZ, and Singapore.
• Navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems.
• Serve as Anthropic's regional expert on APAC nonprofit and higher education market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
• Build strategic relationships with regional sector platforms, consultants, and networks.
• Partner effectively with SF- and NY-based teams across time zones.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant data protection regulations.

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

• 10+ years of experience prospecting and closing leads in APAC markets.
• Proven ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles and navigate varied procurement frameworks.
• Experience managing six-figure (USD) enterprise deal cycles.
• Experience selling to organisations with non-standard governance.
• Strong understanding of APAC data protection regimes.
• Demonstrated history of exceeding quota while operating autonomously across time zones with limited direct supervision.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt style across regional and cultural contexts.
• Fluency in English required.
• Passion for emerging technologies like AI, with interest in ensuring they are developed safely and responsibly.
