Description

We are seeking a creative and self-driven Product Engineer to help transfer GPU gaming and compute products from design engineering to mass production. You will be exposed to various aspects of building and testing NVIDIA products, from GPUs to assembled boards and systems. Your responsibilities will include working with overseas manufacturing teams to increase yields, test coverage and capacity, and reduce production costs.

Key responsibilities:

Work on NVIDIA gaming and compute GPU board products during NPI and in production

Work with multi-functional teams (including Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, Design, Customer Support and Marketing) to achieve fast-paced delivery schedules on groundbreaking products

Define and improve manufacturing test plans to optimize coverage, test-time, test-cost and yield

Perform product design and validation to support design engineering sustaining works.

Root Cause failing boards and make DFX recommendations to design team.

Direct local and oversea contract manufacturing factories to transit new products to massive production.

Regularly report product status and recommend improvements to management

Analyse volume manufacturing data by using a combination of available software tools as well as programming / scripting

Requirements:

Experience in two or more of the following areas – Server architectures, board/PCB-design, SMT, assembly, board or post-Si validation, product engineering, design or validation of high speed interfaces (like PCI-E / DP / HDMI / USB), Power-Integrity, Thermal characterization, complex test setups

Ability to debug complicated multi-disciplinary problems

Good team spirit and strong communication

Good grasp of testing strategies and their relation to yields and test-time

5+ years of experience in design / manufacturing / validation / product development / testing of PCB’s, Silicon or some other systems

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science – or equivalent experience

Desirable skills:

Background in data analysis, software tools and scripting

Experience enabling / driving cross functional debug

Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process, Silicon or PCB debug, system assembly / testing and mechanical tolerances

Knowledge of how to build computers and tweak BIOS settings
