Director, Compliance and Privacy

Pomelo Care is looking for a Director of Compliance & Privacy to lead their compliance and privacy programs as they scale. This role involves managing daily intake, leading complex investigations, and guiding the compliance team.

The Director will act as the right-hand to the Head of Compliance, overseeing HIPAA privacy programs, managing operational volume, and providing guidance to the compliance team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the HIPAA privacy program
• Managing and triaging operational volume
• Providing daily operational guidance to the compliance team
• Overseeing clinical and regulatory compliance
• Serving as the primary interface with legal and compliance colleagues
• Driving the execution of the annual Compliance Work and Audit Plan
• Managing and developing direct reports

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in healthcare compliance or privacy, deep expertise in HIPAA and HITECH, and a proven track record as an investigator.
