  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into global and regional industrial trends, economic shifts, and external supply market dynamics to future-proof our sourcing decisions.
  • Innovation & Optimization: Drive 'out-of-the-box' projects to streamline the buyer's workflow and advocate for the adoption of cutting-edge Category Management best practices.

Execution & Financial Impact

  • Deliver Value: Deploy targeted category actions to achieve and exceed savings targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and delivery.
  • Risk & Lifecycle Management: Proactively identify supply chain risks and implement robust mitigation, cost reduction, and inventory optimization plans.
  • Taxonomy & Governance: Align category taxonomy with existing commodity codes and ensure rigorous adherence to the Category Management process.

Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead diverse teams (Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing) to develop and approve MCSs, ensuring buy-in from key strategic stakeholders.
