We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. As a Consultant Specialist, you will drive the application to be widely integrated into DATaP goals, while keeping the primary focus on market/customers & business growth. You will also run the Bank & Change the Bank requirements are driven in-line with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and troubleshoot technical solutions on projects related to customer data in HK market.
- Implement data governance policies and ensure data quality and integrity.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- AI tools and automation experience such as coding, testing and migration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex data to diverse audiences.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience in driving software development, with a strong understanding of technical processes on Customer Data HK for both WPB and CIB in market AMH.
- Solid knowledge of technologies such as MVS, z-series, CICS, JCL, DB2, PROC.
- Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., APIs, Springboot) and no-SQL DB such as Mongo-DB.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to gather, analyse, and interpret data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail with ability to consider alternative and innovative solutions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Communication and Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex data to diverse audiences.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Functional Knowledge:
- Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives.
- Proven ability managing technology infrastructure in a large and complex operational environment; experienced at leveraging key tools (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Agile) to drive client-focused performance.
- Proven ability in successfully designing and implementing large-scale, complex global / regional change initiatives.
- Experience in front line, customer-facing IT systems and platforms.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels and to individuals across business and functions.
- Knowledge of the changing regulatory environment especially in the financial services sector.
