Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Lexington Medical Center, part of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient-centered care using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication.
  • Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for patient needs and uphold professional practice standards.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
  • 2 years of ED experience preferred.
