Systems Software Engineer, Autonomous Systems Mapping - New College Graduate 2026

The DeepMap team at NVIDIA is working on fundamental technologies for the autonomous software stack. We're seeking a software engineer to contribute to data collection, analysis, map creation, and consumption software components for NVIDIA's driving/mobile platforms and backend systems.

You will:

• Research algorithms for trajectory data mining and road network topology analysis
• Develop proof-of-concept tools to enhance the map building pipeline
• Perform data analysis and preparation for benchmarking

Requirements:

• MS/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python
• Understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and basic statistics

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with computer vision, computational geometry, robotics, and machine learning
• Familiarity with Linux kernel internals and device drivers
• Experience with autonomous vehicle or robotics sensors (camera, lidar, radar, GPS)
