Overview
We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join the X Search team at xAI. The successful candidate will contribute to building and operating the core search engine that powers discovery on X.
Responsibilities
You will build search and retrieval algorithms that scale to millions of users. You will also build and operate a large-scale search engine and search infrastructure, train state-of-the-art ML ranking models, and integrate Grok in search systems and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop search and retrieval algorithms for large-scale user bases
- Construct and manage extensive search engines and infrastructure
- Create and refine machine learning ranking models
- Incorporate Grok into search systems and products
Basic Qualifications
You will need experience with:
- Python, Go, Rust
- Vector databases, search indices, or similar data stores for search applications
- Large-scale search systems
- Production machine learning systems
Additionally, you should be able to take full ownership of problems, learn as needed, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
