Description

Application Engineer

Provide technical engineering and customer liaison support services for engine and electrified powertrain test systems integration, development, commissioning, and troubleshooting. This includes mechanical infrastructure, battery, e-motor, and emission measurement systems, such as commission test cells, high-speed data acquisition systems, and driver robots for vehicle testing.

Implement and tune control loops, integrate simulation models and auxiliary equipment into test systems, create commissioning documentation, and conduct test bed data acquisition automation software review of test cycles and screens for test systems.

Service, troubleshoot, and calibrate industrial drives, dynamometers, and measurement and conditioning devices. Write scripts to automate custom processes and provide training to customers on system applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in job duties
