Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Statutory Financial Reporting and Compliance team in London. The role will be responsible for aspects of the controllership and accounting function in support of our EMEA operations. You will work closely with senior management to lead and drive various meetings on key financial statement areas and own the monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for the EMEA operations.
Your responsibilities will include driving standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls to obtain the highest integrity of financial reporting, including partnering with stakeholders for a successful end-to-end approach to reporting. You will also deliver functional projects on a cross-country level, such as implementing best accounting/controllership practice to enhance and deepen the control environment.
As a Finance Manager, you will ensure that our EMEA Accounting activities are aligned across the Worldwide Accounting Organization and influence and articulate accounting/finance terminology to the non-finance community. You will also support internal and external audit processes.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in a quantitative role. You will also need experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field, as well as experience in multiple finance and accounting roles.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of SQL/ETL, experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, and experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations.
