Senior Engineer, UI & UX

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, UI & UX to join our team in Hefei. As a Senior Engineer, UI & UX, you will be responsible for the UI/UX concept innovation design, from feature definition to wireframes, user journey, high-fidelity screens, animations, and prototypes.

You will act as the key interface in Anhui between German Headquarters, VCTC teams, and external suppliers to ensure seamless progress synergy and requirement alignment.

Your main tasks will include:

• Establishing, scaling, and maintaining a comprehensive UI/UX Design System, utilizing advanced token architectures (e.g., Global, Semantic, Component tokens) to ensure efficient engineering handoff and visual consistency across all projects.
• Ensuring international design standards and 'Digital Elegance' philosophy are well understood and strictly followed during the local design process.
• Creating and defining innovative, China-specific UI/UX requirements that balance local digital ecosystem needs with the premium brand identity.
• Reviewing and developing UI/UX concepts for core IVI features (Navigation, AI Assistant, etc.) and cross-platform digital services.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 5 years of working experience as a UI & UX designer for in-vehicle infotainment systems.
• A master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Expertise in UI design and proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Family.
• Demonstrated international aesthetic standards and a global design perspective; ability to handle 'Digital Elegance' and minimalist design styles.
• Ability to establish, scale, and maintain a comprehensive UI/UX Design System, utilizing advanced token architectures.
• Experience with 3D modeling tools like C4D, Blender, or similar.
• Strong communication and explanation skills for design concepts.
• High motivation for proactive and innovative design.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English, both spoken and written.
