Description
We are seeking native Japanese speakers to join our team of game testers. As a game tester, you will be responsible for correcting texts and contents of games (grammar, syntax, typography). You will also verify the coherence of texts and propose changes where necessary. Additionally, you will write error reports, perform minor and simple translations, and ensure that subtitles correspond to audio tracks.
Requirements:
- Mastery of English and Japanese (spoken and written).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written) due to the need to maintain constant communication with clients and teams outside of Quebec.
- Residency in the Montreal area.
- Availability to work from home or office as required by project.
- Canadian citizenship, permanent resident, open work permit, tourist-work visa, or in process of applying for a work permit.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks while efficiently managing time.
- Familiarity with digital technologies (computers, game consoles, touch screens).
- Interest in the video game industry.
- Experience in a relevant field or related to video games (an asset).
- Experience in a similar position (an asset).
