Mechanical Development Engineer

As a Mechanical Development Engineer, you will bring chassis components and technologies into our vehicles, ensuring that all marketability, reliability, regulatory, profitability, manufacturing, and test requirements and targets are achieved.

Key Accountabilities:

• Gather the latest global hardware specs and compile a comprehensive plan for application to future responsible development models.
• Work directly with departmental function groups to guarantee harmonious hardware maturation schedules and lead critical meetings to resolve conflicts.
• Support investigation of hardware concerns and develop corrective hardware plans as necessary.
• Conduct experimental testing to determine hardware design and spec, supporting product development activities and schedules.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering
• 0-2 years related experience or equivalent level of education and experience
• Experience with testing instrumentation and calibration (microphones, accelerometers, strain gauges, thermocouples) is preferred.
• Proficient PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other technical software) and excellent communication / interpersonal skills are required.
