Description
NVIDIA's HPC Compiler Team is seeking a Compiler Developer to join the team building one of the world's most important optimizing compilers.
The ideal candidate will have a front-row seat to pioneering compiler development in high-performance computing.
NVIDIA's invention of the GPU revolutionized parallel computing, and their GPUs are being used in many of the largest high-performance computing projects around the world, solving real-world problems.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new features for high-performance CPUs and GPUs
- Working with application teams to tackle interesting and meaningful compilation problems
- Partnering with team members on projects related to high-performance computing and optimizations
- Interacting directly with teams in the open-source community
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ECE, or related field (Ph.D. or Master's preferred) or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience developing production-quality compilers or tools or equivalent
- Proven understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizers
- Knowledge of programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++, with a deep understanding of parallel computer architectures and optimizations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the EDG compiler front-end or LLVM
- Familiarity with C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards
- Passion for compiler development
- Highly motivated with problem-solving skills
