Description
Astranis is seeking a Civil Space Sales Manager to shape and capture U.S. government civil space business opportunities. The ideal candidate has both technical and/or business training as well as customer-facing experience with the civil space community, including NASA, NOAA, and national laboratories.
Key responsibilities include building relationships with customers and partners, improving awareness of Astranis solutions within the civil space communities, developing Astranis positions on civil space issues, and communicating those positions to NASA or other civil space offices.
The successful candidate will have a B.S. or B.A. in engineering or hard science, at least 5 years of experience in engineering, program management, corporate strategy, or USG sales/business development, and working knowledge of the US civil space community, commercial space industry, associated organizations, and ongoing programs.
This is a full-time position based in the National Capital Region or San Francisco, with a salary range of $115,000-$185,000 USD and a comprehensive benefits package.
