Description
As a Data Center Technician at CoreWeave, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of our data center environments. This is a hands-on role focused on hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, and support of mission-critical infrastructure. You will work onsite at one of our data center locations and may participate in an on-call rotation to support after-hours operational needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability Conducting hardware and network diagnostics and repairs Performing root cause analysis of hardware and software failures Training internal teams Developing documentation Providing technical support to data center teams Developing scripts to update server and networking hardware Maintaining inventory Assembling and installing equipment Performing maintenance of test and tool equipment Traveling up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as required by business needs Responding to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while scheduled on-call
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly, as well as experience working with Linux operating systems. You should also be able to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, and be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing diagnostic and repair tasks.
