Description
Twilio is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join the GTM Automation team as an Applications Engineer 2.
In this role, you'll work on evolving a Salesforce data model that's technically scalable, easily reportable, and functionally intuitive for end users. You'll utilize SOQL API's, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callouts, and other development tools to build custom functionality that tailors sales systems to the unique business and operating model.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the GTM Automation Systems team on Salesforce data model evolution
- Building custom functionality using SOQL API's, Apex controllers, and other development tools
- Participating in technical analysis activities and documenting requirements for application integration
- Reviewing and assuring quality in all code entering the codebase
- Evaluating and refactoring the existing codebase for increased extensibility
- Learning new technologies depending on project requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Javascript, and Agile development practices
- Advanced flow development
- API integrations (ETL, marketing tools, ERP, analytics)
- Data architecture support
- Performance optimization and technical debt reduction
- Deployment and CI/CD support
- Security and scalability improvements
- Tech design collaboration with System Architects
- Translating technical requirements into independent features for development
- Comprehensive experience with debugging and troubleshooting in Salesforce
- Experience working with and optimizing millions of rows of data
- Proficiency in developing unit tests with assertions for core functionality
Desired skills:
- Experience with AgentForce, Einstein, AI tools/technologies
- Experience with SQL, Python, Data Cloud, Snowflake
- Familiarity with a Pay-as-you-go business model
- Experience developing and deploying through Heroku
This is a remote role based in India. Occasional travel may be required for project or team in-person meetings.
