Description
As a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be part of the Mixed Signal team, responsible for architecture definition and design of CMOS high-speed interface circuits and mixed-signal circuits.
You will be working on the design and implementation of high-speed interface circuits, creating projects including high-speed transceivers and high-frequency PLLs, and becoming involved in the design, simulation, and verification of mixed-signal circuits.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading mask designers and providing mentorship for floorplan and layout design
- Supporting lab characterization of silicon and pursuing circuit design challenges in deep submicron CMOS
- Taking designs through implementation and productizing, collaborating with multi-functional teams
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, PhD preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of design experience in CMOS analog/mixed-signal circuits
- Working knowledge of Cadence custom design tools, circuit simulator, and timing analysis tool
- Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills, with experience leading and mentoring designers
- Extensive design experience in Data Converters, Tx, Rx, CDR, PLL for high-speed IO interfaces
- Proven experience in silicon bring-up, debugging, and use of lab instrumentation
Preferred skills:
- Experience in Verilog, Matlab, Nanotime
- Knowledge in system-level timing budget, signal integrity, and power integrity
