Yard Hostler (Weekend, Day)

As a Yard Hostler at Red Bull North America, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring that trailers are moved within the yard in a safe and efficient manner using a Terminal Tractor. You will also be responsible for yard management, maintaining good housekeeping, and adhering to yard rules and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Terminal Tractor to move trailers in and out of dock doors and parking stalls
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain energy sources for Terminal Tractor and other equipment
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures
• Inspect trailers to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Perform trailer inventory checks and yard audits
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and forms
• Operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and other equipment within the facility
• Work as part of a team to prevent yard bottlenecks and improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Yard Hostler experience
• Prior experience in CPG and/or Food & Beverage industries preferred
• Ability to demonstrate decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of computer systems and/or warehouse management systems
• Fluent in English; additional language skills beneficial
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs and ladders
• Occasionally lift, move, and place up to 75 pounds
• Active driver's license and clean driving record

Compensation:

• $21.00 per hour
• $2 shift differential
• 5% target quarterly bonus
