Registered Nurse Bastrop FSED PRN

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Emergency Center Bastrop. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients
• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized plans of care, and implement interventions to promote optimal health outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department or critical care setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification
• Neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification
