Operations Engineering Manager, Fleet Reliability

Job Overview

We are seeking an Operations Engineering Manager for our Fleet Reliability Operations team at CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI. This team is crucial for provisioning, updating, and triaging server nodes, as well as configuring and validating our server fleet.

Responsibilities

As the Operations Manager, you will:

• Build and lead a 24/7 team of process-oriented, reliability and observability-focused engineers.
• Develop and document clear processes for provisioning, validating, and troubleshooting server nodes.
• Advocate for process and automation improvements, focusing on event-driven automated remediation.
• Provide 24/7 engineering support for high-criticality node delivery and maintenance.
• Drive onboarding, documentation, enablement, and performance management for your team.
• Foster a culture of communication, support, and reliability within the team and across CoreWeave.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, with at least two years in a leadership capacity.
• Background in SRE fundamentals, incident management, blameless culture, observability, and change management.
• Strong belief in automation and reliability practices.
• Experience in helping people grow and develop their skills.

Benefits

• Base salary range: $143,000 to $191,000
