Description
As a Business Development Representative at Anthropic, you'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI by optimising our lead management processes and identifying new market opportunities. In this pivotal role, you'll enable our sales team to focus on high-value, revenue-generating activities by leveraging your analytical skills, project management expertise, and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient lead routing and qualification strategies
- Analyse lead data to identify patterns and opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand their needs and optimise lead handoff processes
- Manage and prioritise a high volume of inbound leads
- Conduct initial qualifications for high-potential leads
- Outbound against tiered list to generate high-intent opportunities with Startup and Enterprise teams
- Support the development and execution of strategic outbound initiatives
- Provide data-driven insights to inform sales strategies and resource allocation
- Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 2-3+ years of experience in a fast-growing startup, preferably in lead management and project management roles or 2-3+ years of experience in a field like finance & investment banking, consulting or software engineering
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, and SQL (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passion for AI and Anthropic's mission to develop AI systems that are safe, beneficial, and trustworthy
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Law, Finance or related field
Logistics:
- Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
