Description
The Quality Engineering Team at Porsche oversees technical quality management in North America. As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure timely resolution of technical topics in your discipline and serve as a resident technical expert for Porsche models in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor market quality by analyzing sensor data, Technical Support tickets, and product quality complaints
- Perform root cause analysis using tools like Vector CANape and CANoe
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering departments to develop and validate countermeasures
- Provide 3rd level support for Technical Support Hotline and Field Technical Managers
- Develop and manage field information and fixes as Advanced Technical Information bulletins
- Assist with Development Engineering initiatives and support test tours and validation trials
- Provide guidance to technical personnel and Quality Engineering interns
Qualifications:
- 4-year Engineering or technical-based degree in automotive-related sciences or technologies
- 2 years of work experience in fields related to automotive technologies
- Experience with automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and data analysis
- Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree in Engineering, fluent or proficient German, and prior Automotive AfterSales experience

Physical requirements:
- Comfortable with physical exertion for 3-5 hour intervals
- Ability to travel long distances in aircraft or via automobile
