Description

The Quality Engineering Team at Porsche oversees technical quality management in North America. As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure timely resolution of technical topics in your discipline and serve as a resident technical expert for Porsche models in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor market quality by analyzing sensor data, Technical Support tickets, and product quality complaints
  • Perform root cause analysis using tools like Vector CANape and CANoe
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering departments to develop and validate countermeasures
  • Provide 3rd level support for Technical Support Hotline and Field Technical Managers
  • Develop and manage field information and fixes as Advanced Technical Information bulletins
  • Assist with Development Engineering initiatives and support test tours and validation trials
  • Provide guidance to technical personnel and Quality Engineering interns

Qualifications:

  • 4-year Engineering or technical-based degree in automotive-related sciences or technologies
  • 2 years of work experience in fields related to automotive technologies
  • Experience with automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and data analysis
  • Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree in Engineering, fluent or proficient German, and prior Automotive AfterSales experience

Physical requirements:

  • Comfortable with physical exertion for 3-5 hour intervals
  • Ability to travel long distances in aircraft or via automobile
