Join our team as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, carry out physician orders, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and educate patients and families. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing therapeutic communication and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Carry out physician orders, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems
  • Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team
  • Identify nursing problems and plan individualized patient care using an interdisciplinary approach

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • One year of clinical nursing experience preferred
