The Associate Principal, Strategic Finance & Analytics, Business Finance Org role at Airbnb involves partnering with the business across all aspects of growth, analytics, and strategy within the Chief Business Officer Finance organization. The role works closely with members of the supply, quality, product, and finance leadership teams to provide actionable insights and financial guidance for the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating on annual and quarterly planning to ensure alignment on financial and strategic goals
- Leading or supporting strategic projects to improve financial outcomes and optimize operational efficiency
- Providing actionable financial insights through detailed reporting and analytics
- Presenting financial reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Analyzing business trends and drivers of variance
- Optimizing operating processes such as business reviews and financial reporting
- Managing budget tracking and approvals
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and business strategy, with a background in strategic finance, investment banking, or management consulting preferred. They should have strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
