Description
A Deployment Strategist at Palantir works as part of a driven and creative team to deploy software against the most challenging problems our world faces. Your mission is to synthesise disconnected streams of thought into a cohesive understanding of what the most important problem is, what the data means, what the product needs, what users are motivated by, and where the impact could be.
As a Deployment Strategist, you'll go onsite and meet with customer analysts to understand the critical questions they need to answer and locate their biggest pain points. You'll identify relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer problems and workflows, and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate the data into a stable and extensible pipeline.
Your responsibilities will include working with the customer to build bespoke workflows for new user groups, leading training sessions to ensure that the product is meeting user needs, and presenting the results of your work and proposals for future work to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.
You'll also embed with our Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate what you saw in the field into cross-Palantir product offerings, build and deliver demos to new and existing customers, and scope out potential engagements in new industries and in increasingly expanding locations around the world.
We value team members who aren't satisfied with surface-level answers, who have extraordinary ability to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments, and who are adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead and follow.
This role requires active US Security Clearance at or above the Top Secret level, and the ability to support 4-5 days per week on customer sites located primarily in Colorado Springs, CO and the surrounding area.
As a Deployment Strategist, you'll have the opportunity to identify a problem you care about, and come up with your own solution using publicly available data. You'll submit a demo video showcasing your project, and have the chance to gain experience with and access to our Foundry product and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP).
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $170,000/year, and total compensation may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives.
