The opportunity We're currently looking for a Web Analytics Intern to join our Commercial Operations & Planning team. The role involves supporting eCommerce performance analysis and ensuring accurate, high-quality data for decision making.
This position is a paid internship of 7 months, located at PSHQ, Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed.
Responsibilities In this role, you'll be expected to support analysis and reporting of eCommerce performance. Working as a member of the Commercial Operations & Planning team, you'll be instrumental in turning data into insights that improve user experience and conversion across markets.
Key tasks include:
- Extract, analyse, and structure eCommerce data to identify trends, detect anomalies, and validate hypotheses
- Support cross-market performance analysis to enable prioritised actions that improve conversion and user experience
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Operations and other teams to align on insights and performance drivers
- Monitor, track, and report data findings in line with defined KPIs and business objectives
- Identify optimisation opportunities in user behaviour, funnel performance, and content effectiveness
Ideal Candidate To succeed in this role, you'll need tenacity, flexibility, and curiosity. You should have a strong interest in web analytics and eCommerce and enjoy working with data to understand behaviour and performance. You are detail-oriented and take a structured approach to analysis, while also being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience or education within web analytics, eCommerce, or a related field, enabling you to understand how digital performance is measured and improved
- Working knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager, allowing you to navigate data, validate tracking, and support analysis
- Understanding of KPIs, funnels, cohorts, and user behaviour analytics, helping you interpret performance and identify improvement areas
- Ability to work with tracking setups including tags, data layers, and event instrumentation, ensuring data quality and reliability
- Experience in transforming data into clear insights and recommendations that can be used by business stakeholders
