Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: CTO Data Technology

Principal responsibilities:

• Platform engineering: Design, build, and operate core MLOps platform capabilities across GCP and on-prem Kubernetes.
• Standardised delivery paths: Create reusable CI/CD/CT patterns for ML workloads.
• Workflow orchestration: Engineer and support ML pipelines using Airflow.
• Experiment tracking & model registry: Operate and extend MLflow.
• Model serving & batch scoring: Provide platform patterns for batch scoring and transaction/near-real-time scoring.
• Observability & reliability: Implement monitoring and alerting for platform and model services.
• Security & controls: Embed secure-by-design practices.
• Enablement: Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and onboarding guides.

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering skills in Python and Flask.
• Hands-on experience building MLOps platforms or shared ML enablement tooling.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with GCP services relevant to ML platforms.
• Proven experience operating MLflow and integrating it into release/promotion workflows.
• Proven experience building and operating Airflow pipelines in production.
• CI/CD experience for containerised workloads.
• Observability experience and production support mindset.
• Strong understanding of secure engineering practices.
