Applied Research Intern, NLP - Fall 2026

NVIDIA is seeking top Applied Research Interns to join the Nemotron post-training team. As an intern, you will work on the next generation of Nemotron post-training and open-source software such as NeMo-RL.

The ideal candidate will help design large deep learning systems for natural language processing. You will develop and prototype new algorithms and models for AI model post-training, contribute to open-source projects, and publish your internship project results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and prototype new algorithms and models for AI model post-training.
• Contribute to open-source projects such as NeMo-RL and contribute to the next version of Nemotron models.
• Publish your internship project results.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Masters students with a good publication record will be considered too.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Strong knowledge in Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing.
• Experience with PyTorch or JAX.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of experiments.
