Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, Generalist (Schematics Design/Embedded Systems) to join our Hardware Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for full-cycle PCB design, including collecting requirements, schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, test, debug, and integration with the system.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Development of fuzing circuitry for missile systems.
- Closely collaborating with vehicle development teams to design, document, and produce tailored fuzing systems and effectors.
- Developing system interconnect diagrams and defining wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within the vehicle.
- Providing support and collaborating within other air vehicle subsystem development constraints.
- Conducting vendor surveys and evaluations to support sourcing for system components.
- Participating in peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
- Building up and testing system components through lab, ground, and flight tests.
- Performing low-level firmware development for bring-up and test.
- Conducting root cause analysis in support of field operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs. You should also be competent with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
