Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

We are seeking an Inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to help them achieve a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient, empowering them to return to their previous level of functioning or proceed to the next level of care
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital with physicians, case management, nurses, and others

Requirements:

• Graduate of an AOTA-approved occupational therapy program
• State Licensure
• Registered with NBCOT
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association

Salary: $74,000 - $87,000 per year
