Physical Therapist Assistant - PRN

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide care to patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies preferred
• Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Wisconsin
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
