Description

As an Automation and AI Engineer (Unity & Backend Technologies), you will deliver complete solutions that integrate efficiently with our Unity gaming platforms and backend systems. Your work will impact live game operations, player experiences, and the pace and quality of our production cycles. You will work with designers, data scientists, QA teams, and developers to compose, build, and launch innovative tools and workflows using the latest AI developments.

Key responsibilities include:

Building, developing, and maintaining both front-end (Unity) and back-end services (APIs, microservices, databases) to support tools and automation workflows driven by intelligent systems. Implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance features that integrate with existing game codebases and infrastructure. Developing and supporting custom Unity editor tools to streamline repetitive tasks, such as content creation workflows, build pipelines, and performance checks. Leveraging Unity's scripting APIs to integrate AI services and automate manual steps in the development and liveops processes. Developing and optimizing server-side applications and microservices that power AI features, data processing, and real-time analytics. Working closely with data scientists and AI specialists to integrate machine learning models, autonomous agents, and other advanced AI techniques into Unity and backend systems. Evaluating emerging AI tools and frameworks to determine feasibility, integration points, and return on investment for the business. Implementing automated testing strategies (unit, integration, functional, regression) to ensure reliability and maintainability of new and existing systems. Working together with game developers, architects, and product managers to identify challenges and opportunities for automation and AI application. Documenting builds, workflows, and guidelines for broader internal adoption. Actively seeking out areas for optimization, new tools, or process upgrades, and remaining informed about the latest AI, gaming, and automation trends.
