Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist in our HASE Technology department.

Principal responsibilities:

• Manage and drive end-to-end projects from inception to closure, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, and budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely execution and delivery of milestones, and identify and mitigate risks.
• Design, develop, and implement IT solutions to meet business user requirements.
• Ensure tasks delivered meet business requirements and are delivered on time, within budget, and to an agreed level of quality.
• Design, develop automated test cases during the development process and ensure they are incorporated into the daily build process.
• Participate in system integration activities with other teams and ensure the solution complies with group architecture policies and standards.
• Adopt and provide ongoing improvement on development processes and promote the usage of right tooling.
• Work closely with other IT teams on joint development and maintenance systems.
• Provide support on production cases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record (5+ years) in a development role.
• Experience delivering high-quality and complex system solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Excellent technical skills in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Familiarity with Linux and Shell scripting.
• Knowledge and experience with distributed systems, micro-service architecture, and APIs.
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and tooling).
• Ability to work in an Agile working model.
• Strong passion for technology and engineering.
• Cantonese would be an advantage.
• Experience in banking systems would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in AI and Python would be an advantage.
