Job Summary
Join Twilio as a Staff Data Scientist, working remotely in the US. You'll drive growth across the full funnel, focusing on revolutionizing cross-sell and upsell initiatives. This role involves designing the brain behind Twilio's revenue engine, bridging complex data science and actionable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Translate business objectives into a data science roadmap prioritizing high-LTV growth
- Analyze the self-service funnel to uncover optimization opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
- Identify leading indicators of revenue and build data science models to surface high-potential opportunities
- Serve as a key technical advisor to GTM leadership across Sales and Marketing
- Build extensive knowledge of user behavior, customer purchase and usage experience, and lead funnel to inform data science solutions
- Develop sophisticated recommendation engines to identify 'next-best-action' opportunities
- Build robust frameworks to measure the incremental impact of data products
- Leverage machine learning and generative AI capabilities to support Product-led-growth initiatives
- Partner with Data Engineering to define the long-term roadmap for GTM data architecture
- Oversee the seamless integration of data products into stakeholders' daily workflows
- Create documentation, dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for data products
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Enterprise Technology, Product, and Ops teams to bring relevant data science products to life
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years in Data Science/ML with a proven track record in a GTM or Growth environment
- 5+ years of experience with Applied Statistics/Machine Learning or experimentation
- Expert-level proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and modern ML frameworks
- Experience deploying models into production environments and building scalable data pipelines
- Experience initiating and driving projects leveraging Generative AI capabilities
- Strong understanding of GTM metrics: CAC, LTV, ARR, ARPU, Pipeline Velocity, Lead-to-Close ratios, etc.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desired
- A degree in a quantitative field
- Master's preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis at a technology company, consulting firm, investment bank, or product management firm
Location and Travel
- This role will be remote and based in the USA
- Not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA
- Approximately 5% travel anticipated for in-person meetings

Compensation
- Estimated pay ranges:
- Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington D.C.: $155,520 - $194,400
- New York, New Jersey, Washington State, California (outside of San Francisco Bay area): $164,640 - $205,800
- San Francisco Bay area, California: $182,960 - $228,700
