Software Engineer, CAD Automation

We are seeking a Software/CAD Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be building solutions to boost productivity and efficiency of our custom circuit designs. You will engage with multi-functional teams to ensure the robustness of the designs that will have a direct impact across all product lines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working within a multi-functional team on various projects involving pre-silicon and post-silicon hardware design and related data
• Supporting circuit design engineers to automate typical design tasks and improve efficiency
• Building flows and methodology around vendor EDA tool and design collaterals to streamline design and verification workflows
• Working closely with design engineers to support the existing development infrastructure, identify possible improvements and solutions
• Employing good software engineering practices to develop complex and scalable systems

Requirements include:

• MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience; PhD preferred
• 3+ years of experience in VLSI CAD flows and methodology
• Prior experience and background in VLSI is required
• Good programming skills in multiple languages (C++, Tcl, Python, Makefile or other scripting languages)
• Good interpersonal skills, quick learner, proactive, innovative, highly motivated, and committed

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with design collaterals such as .v, .gv, .lib, gds, etc...
• Enjoy working with multiple levels and teams across organizations
• Effective interpersonal and technical presentation skills
• Self-starter with passion for growth, real enthusiasm for continuous learning and sharing findings across the team
