Job Title: Doula
You will serve as a doula for Pomelo patients, guiding and educating expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This role is a 1099 independent contractor position.
You will play a vital role in improving birth outcomes by ensuring that families feel supported and empowered during this transformative time.
As a Pomelo doula, you will have the opportunity to focus on caring for families without the burden of administrative tasks. We handle credentialing, billing, and other paperwork, allowing you to concentrate on providing exceptional care.
You will have access to comprehensive support, including client outreach, administrative support, and connection to a vibrant network of doulas. You will also maintain your flexibility, choosing how many clients you see through Pomelo and setting your own schedule.
To join Pomelo's growing community, you must have completed certification/training as a birth and/or full spectrum doula, have experience working as a doula, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
The credentialing process involves meeting with our recruitment team for a 30-minute video call, providing required documents, and completing a background screening.
