Description
We are seeking an Engineering Director to lead a team of engineers within our Cloudflare One engineering group. This role will have a strong focus on delivering quality products in our SASE suite.
As an engineering leader at Cloudflare, this role will also provide mentorship and guidance to engineering managers and teams, contributing to company-wide technical practices.
The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for developing people and cultivating a strong engineering culture.
A qualified candidate will be equally skilled with people and technology, able to organize and inspire others while participating in technical discussions and planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead multiple teams of engineers delivering customer-facing products in our Cloudflare One suite.
- Partner with Product Management to define and execute a strategy and achieve audacious goals.
- Work with peers around the world to drive cross-organizational projects and develop best practices.
- Foster a culture that is results-oriented without sacrificing curiosity, kindness, and empathy for customers and co-workers alike.
- Define metrics that guide the engineering teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in your teams.
- Lead engineering recruiting efforts on your teams.
