Description
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our team. As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for handling the configuration and operation of computer operating systems, developing and verifying backups of data, updating systems for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution, and administering infrastructure, including firewalls, XDR, and antivirus programs.
Your responsibilities will also include monitoring Operating Systems' performance and availability, file server and DNS support and maintenance, Windows systems setup and configuration, Linux systems installation and configuration, setting up and handling VMware platforms, configuring the platform for MS SQL Servers, handling AWS services, establishing and managing Active Directory and Windows-based environments, maintaining up-to-date user documentation, and maintaining clear communication with immediate manager.
You will also be required to regularly update and consult with direct manager regarding ongoing tasks and projects, provide timely progress reports, and seek mentorship as needed to ensure efficient workflow. Additionally, you will attend and contribute to team huddles, meetings, and ad-hoc meetings when required, assist in additional duties and assignments as assigned by supervisors or management to support the achievement of department and interpersonal goals, and participate in on-call schedules.
In this role, you will work closely with all relevant parties both inside and outside the organization, and be subordinate to the Managing Director of the Company, according to the approved Company interpersonal chart.
