IT Support Engineer, Executive Support

Job Overview

We're seeking an IT Support Engineer to build and lead our executive support function within IT. As the front door for employee technology needs, you'll provide white-glove support to executives, their administrative business partners (ABPs), and our board.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage executive support intake channels, ensuring timely and effective responses to requests
• Develop and maintain a white-glove service model, prioritizing discretion and confidentiality
• Collaborate with the AV pod to design and implement board-meeting AV support playbooks and provide AV support for executive rooms and board meetings
• Create and maintain exec-support runbooks and SLAs to ensure consistent service delivery
• Foster trusted relationships with ABPs and executive staff, establishing clear intake paths and escalation procedures
• Handle sensitive requests with composure, routing issues to specialist lanes or IT Engineering pods as needed
• Contribute to the Core on-call rotation, knowledge base, and runbooks
• Maintain a regular on-site presence in San Francisco

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT support experience, with 3+ years in executive support
• Proven ability to stand up a service or program from scratch, such as an executive support desk or VIP support function
• Experience supporting executives, their assistants, or a board to a high standard
• Strong IT support fundamentals, including macOS-primary fleets, identity and access, SaaS troubleshooting, and hardware lifecycle management
• AV fluency for executive rooms and board meetings
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and composure in high-pressure situations
• Security-first mindset and ability to balance user experience with security requirements

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting a C-suite or board of directors at a company with significant security or compliance requirements
• AV expertise beyond initial response, such as broadcast, live events, or room design
• Experience building runbooks, self-service content, or support automation
• Familiarity with AI/ML research environments or highly technical user bases

Logistics

• Annual salary: $230,000 - $265,000 USD
• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
