Microsoft AI are looking for a talented Applied Scientist II at their Bengaluru office. This role sits at the heart of developing cutting-edge large-scale AI services that can power the next-gen AI search. You'll work directly with the team to shape the company's direction in AI search and development.
About the Role
As an Applied Scientist II, you will be responsible for developing novel machine learning and data mining algorithms, designing and developing solutions that respond in real time, and building data quality checks and re-usable modules for the training. You will also host ML models with production-ready code, design and execute offline/online experiments, and advance the state of the art of NLP technologies for real-world scenarios.

The Candidate we're looking for
Experience:
- Master's/PhD degree in CS/EE or related fields with knowledge in NLP, Machine Learning and Data Mining
Technical skills:
- Strong research and/or development experience with machine learning, NLP and data mining
Personal attributes:
- Excellent scientific thinking and execution
- Ability to drive efficient experiment definition and investigations
