Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist patients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan, under the supervision of a physical therapist, to improve patients' quality of life and ability to perform daily activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide, monitor, and record therapy services to patients with physical, cognitive, and developmental impairments
• Select, implement, and modify therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with demonstrated competency levels and patient goals
• Exchange information with and provide documentation to the physical therapist about patient responses and communications during intervention
• Follow and adhere to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organizations

Qualifications:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment

We offer a competitive salary range of $24.00 - $38.50 per hour.
