Be the first to apply for this Sales and Operations Planning Analyst role at Ford. As a Sales and Operations Planning Analyst, you will manage and optimize end-to-end planning, drive monthly S&OP / IBP cycles, and ensure inventory optimization while maintaining service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning & Execution:
+ Manage and optimize end-to-end planning (Demand, Supply and inventory) + Drive monthly S&OP / IBP cycles with cross-functional stakeholders + Analyse demand variability and align supply plans accordingly + Ensure inventory optimization while maintaining service levels + Identify and resolve supply-demand mismatches proactively + Create exception reports/alerts to enable quick issue identification & resolution
- Kinaxis / System Responsibilities:
+ Work closely with Kinaxis CoE to configure and enhance planning models + Translate business requirements into functional specifications + Support scenario planning, what-if analysis, and simulations in Kinaxis + Drive continuous improvement in planning parameters, alerts, and workflows + Act as a bridge between business users and IT/technical teams
- Analytics & Insights:
+ Develop and track KPIs: forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, etc. + Provide actionable insights using planning data + Lead root cause analysis for planning variances
- Stakeholder Management:
+ Collaborate with demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams + Facilitate alignment during S&OP meetings + Train and support end users on Kinaxis processes + Cross culture collaboration
Qualifications:
- Domain Expertise (Must Have):
+ 5–10+ years in Supply Planning / Demand Planning / S&OP + Strong understanding of:
- Capacity planning
- Inventory management
- Production planning
+ Experience in handling complex supply chains
- System Knowledge (Preferred):
+ Experience with Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse (preferred) + Exposure to planning tools like SAP APO / IBP / Oracle ASCP /o9/ BY + Strong Excel/data analysis skills
- Behavioural Competencies:
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset + Ability to work in a cross-functional global environment + Continuous improvement mindset + Good communication & stakeholder management
- Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations + MBA (Operations / Supply Chain) preferred
