Description
As a Python Developer, Networking at NVIDIA, you will participate in an international team of software engineers focused on developing products for testing HBN and Cumulus Linux. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, optimising, and maintaining regression software infrastructure and test suites to ensure flawless performance and reliability of HBN and Cumulus Linux. You will work with continuous integration systems and regression tools, automate builds, run test suites, and analyse the results. Additionally, you will innovate and bring NVIDIA's Cumulus Linux to shine in customer's view.
To succeed in this role, you will need a B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have 2+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong background in Python or other object-oriented programming language. Outstanding technical abilities, problem-solving and multitasking skills are essential. You should also be able to lead feature development, take full ownership, and deliver independently. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are also required.
To stand out from the crowd, you should have hands-on experience on any Layer2 and Layer3 protocols like VLAN, VxLAN, BGP, EVPN, etc. Background with using test tools from Ixia or Spirent and working experience with test management tools are also beneficial. Experience with CI methodology & tools (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, etc.) is highly valued.
