Description
Our Hardware Engineers at Synopsys are responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge semiconductor solutions. They work on intricate tasks such as chip architecture, circuit design, and verification to ensure the efficiency and reliability of semiconductor products. These engineers play a crucial role in advancing technology and enabling innovations in various industries.
As a Principal Engineer, you will lead verification and validation efforts for advanced DDR, LPDDR, and HBM memory interface PHY and controller solutions. You will develop and optimize embedded firmware to support PHY initialization, training, debug, and system performance. You will create and enhance verification environments using UVM, System Verilog, and system-level modeling tools. You will collaborate with analog, digital, firmware, and hardware teams to debug issues and ensure overall system integrity.
You will bridge pre-silicon and post-silicon activities to improve bring-up efficiency, debug effectiveness, and customer outcomes. You will support silicon bring-up by developing tests, analyzing failures, and reproducing issues in FPGA or emulation environments when needed. You will drive technical problem solving across cross-functional teams and help teams make sound architectural and verification decisions. You will mentor engineers and contribute to best practices in verification, debug, and development workflows.
Improving product quality and verification coverage across next-generation memory interface solutions. Accelerating silicon bring-up and debug through stronger alignment between architecture, verification, firmware, and hardware teams. Strengthening development efficiency through better workflows, automation, and technical best practices. Helping deliver more robust customer outcomes through deep technical insight and effective cross-functional collaboration. Raising the technical bar through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
