Country Lead, Data Center Security

As the Country Lead, Data Center Security, you will be the senior DCSE presence in Australia with a focus on security systems and systems architecture. You will own day-to-day security operations for the region and be the technical owner of the systems those operations run on.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional operations lead for data center physical security in Australia
• Administer and operate the region's electronic security systems
• Design and document security systems architecture
• Build and maintain integrations for centralized monitoring and analysis platforms
• Support construction-phase security for new builds and modular deployments
• Manage regional security vendors and integrators
• Write and maintain the operational backbone for regional security controls
• Provide after-hours coverage and structured handoffs to US-based teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering enterprise physical security systems
• Experience running physical security operations at data centers or comparable facilities
• Ability to produce and work from security design documentation
• Remote within NSW, VIC, or ACT, with regular travel to data center sites, and authorization to work in Australia

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years across physical security operations and security systems engineering
• Direct data center experience, including construction-phase or greenfield security commissioning
• Experience standing up or operating a SOC/GSOC or comparable 24/7 monitoring operation
• Familiarity with PSIM or SIEM platforms and physical-security network segmentation practices
