Senior PCIe Design Verification Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior PCIe Design Verification Engineer to verify the design and implementation of next-generation PCI Express controllers for GPUs and SOCs. The engineer will develop scalable testbenches reusable across different verification methodologies and environments.

The GPU started out as an engine for simulating human imagination, but today, NVIDIA's GPU simulates human intelligence, running deep learning algorithms and acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars.

Responsibilities:

• Verify ASIC design, architecture, and micro-architecture of PCIE controllers for multiple product generations using standard verification methodologies like UVM and Specman/e.
• Develop reusable testbench components using UVM or Specman/e, integrating them across verification environments.
• Build or improve reusable testbench components, including constraints, stimulus, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards, following coverage-based verification methodology.
• Understand complex testbenches and their verification scope, define new verification scope, develop test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure, and verify design correctness.
• Collaborate with multiple verification teams, architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon verification teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in unit/sub-system/SOC level verification.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog.
• Expertise in comprehensive verification of industry-standard IP or interconnect protocols (e.g., PCI Express, CXL, UCIe, USB, SATA).
• Experience in developing and working in functional coverage-based constrained random verification environments.
• Skillful in verification methodologies like UVM, Specman/e, as well as reusable testbench architecture and its development.
• Exposure to industry-standard verification tools for simulation and debug.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with both UVM and Specman/e-based verification methodologies.
• Good knowledge of PCIE protocol - Gen3 and above.
• Great debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work as a great teammate.
